Regama NPO ("we", "us", or "ReGaMa") is committed to protecting the privacy of all users of the ReGaMa platform at playregama.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have.
By registering an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not use the Platform.

1. Data Collection

1.1 Account Data

When you register an account, we collect:

• Username (account identifier, visible to other users)
• E-mail address (used for account management and communications)
• Date of birth (used to verify age eligibility)

1.2 Technical Data

When you access the Platform, we automatically collect certain technical information, including:

• IP address and technical data (used for security, fraud prevention, and operational diagnostics)
• Session cookies (small files stored in your browser to keep you authenticated during a browsing session. These expire when you log out or after a long time of inactivity.)

1.3 User-Generated Content & Communications

Content you create and publish on the Platform — including games, builds, Marketplace items, comments, and real-time chat messages — is stored on our servers. Chat messages sent between users may be retained for moderation and safety purposes.
Please be aware that public content (games, comments, Marketplace items) is visible to all Platform users. Do not include personal information in public content.

1.4 Data We Do Not Collect

ReGaMa does not collect:

• Payment or financial information (the Platform is free; no purchases exist)
• Phone numbers or physical addresses
• Government-issued identification
• Biometric data of any kind

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect exclusively for the following purposes:

• Operating and improving the Platform and its features
• Verifying age eligibility (13+ requirement) at account creation
• Authenticating your account and maintaining session security
• Sending essential account-related communications (e.g., security alerts, policy updates)
• Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security threats
• Enforcing our Terms of Service and moderating content
• Diagnosing technical issues and maintaining Platform stability

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose. ReGaMa is a non-profit project and does not monetize user data in any way.

3. Cookies

ReGaMa uses session cookies only. A session cookie is a file placed in your browser to keep you logged in to the Platform. It contains no personal information beyond an encrypted session identifier.
Session cookies persist for a period of days to weeks depending on your activity. They are deleted when you:

• Log out of your account manually
• Clear your browser cookies
• Let your session expire due to extended inactivity

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will prevent you from staying logged in to the Platform.

4. Third-Party Services

Currently, ReGaMa does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or login services that collect your personal data. All data processing is handled internally.
We may integrate third-party services in the future (such as analytics providers or single sign-on). If and when we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance and users will be notified via the Platform's News section before any such integration takes effect.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party for commercial or marketing purposes. Your data may only be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal obligation (if required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental authority)
• Safety (to protect the rights, property, or safety of ReGaMa, its users, or the public, particularly in cases involving minors or imminent harm)
• Service operation (internally among ReGaMa staff and moderators who need access to data to perform their roles, subject to confidentiality obligations)

6. Data Retention

6.1 Active Accounts

We retain your account data for as long as your account exists on the Platform. This includes your username, e-mail address, date of birth, and any content you have published.

6.2 Deleted Accounts

After you request account deletion, your personal identifiers (e-mail address, date of birth) will be anonymized or removed. However, certain data may be retained indefinitely in the following cases:

• Content you published publicly (games, Marketplace items) may remain on the Platform under an anonymized identity unless you explicitly request its removal alongside your account deletion
• Records related to moderation actions, bans, or safety incidents may be retained indefinitely to prevent circumvention and protect the community
• Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data (e.g., play counts, statistics) may be retained indefinitely

If you wish to request deletion of specific content alongside your account, please indicate this clearly in your deletion request via playregama.com/help/support.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of your location, ReGaMa honors the following rights for all users:

7.1 Right to Access

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time by contacting us at playregama.com/help/support.

7.2 Right to Correction

If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you may update it directly in your account settings or contact us to request a correction.

7.3 Right to Deletion

You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and associated personal data. To do so, submit a deletion request via playregama.com/help/support. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 6.

7.4 Right to Data Portability

Upon request, we will provide you with a machine-readable export of the personal data associated with your account.

7.5 Regional Rights

Users in certain regions may have additional rights under local law, including:

8. Real-Time Chat

ReGaMa provides a real-time chat feature that allows users to communicate with each other within the Platform. Please be aware of the following:

• Chat messages may be stored on our servers and reviewed by moderation staff to enforce our Terms of Service and protect users, particularly minors
• Do not share personal information (real name, address, phone number, school, etc.) in chat
• Chat with users you do not know should be treated as a public space — assume messages may be read by others
• You may report inappropriate chat messages at any time using the Platform's report tools

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has registered an account, we will promptly delete the account and any associated data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has registered on the Platform, please contact us immediately at playregama.com/help/support.
For users between 13 and 17, we encourage parental awareness of Platform activity. Parents may contact us with questions or concerns about their child's use of ReGaMa.

10. Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. These include access controls, secure data transmission, and internal data handling policies.
However, no system is completely secure. You use the Platform at your own risk and are encouraged to use a strong, unique password for your ReGaMa account.

10.1 Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, ReGaMa will notify all affected users via e-mail within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident. The notification will describe the nature of the breach, the data affected, and the steps we are taking to address it.

11. International Data Transfers

ReGaMa operates internationally without a fixed legal jurisdiction. Your data may be stored and processed on servers located in countries that may have different data protection laws than your own country of residence.
By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to these servers. We commit to applying reasonable data protection standards consistent with widely recognized international principles regardless of where data is processed.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on the Platform and announced in the News section. The "Effective Date" at the top of this document will always reflect when the most recent version took effect.
For significant changes — particularly those that expand data collection or change how data is shared — we will notify you via e-mail at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
